Who is responsible
[Controller name — to be provided], [Postal address — to be provided], is responsible for the personal data this site processes. Write to [Contact email — to be provided] with any question about it.
Analytics (Google Analytics)
Only if you accept analytics cookies, this site uses Google Analytics 4 to count visits. It records the pages you view, the site you came from, your browser, device type, screen size and language, and an approximate location (country and city) that Google derives from your IP address. It also records scrolling to the bottom of a page, clicks on links to other sites, file downloads, video plays, form starts and submissions (not what you type), and the words you search for on this site. Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses. No advertising features are on: your data is not used or shared for advertising.
It sets two cookies on this site's own address: _ga, which tells visits from the same browser apart, and _ga_<id>, which keeps track of the current session. Both last up to 2 years, unless you turn analytics off, which deletes them.
We use these statistics to learn which pages are useful and to improve the site.
Legal basis: your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). Without it, nothing from Google is loaded.
Recipient: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, which processes the data on our behalf. It may be transferred to Google LLC in the United States, which is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
Google keeps the recorded events for 2 months, then deletes them; reports keep only totals.
You can withdraw your consent at any time, on any page, with Cookie settings:
Error reports (Sentry)
When something on this site fails, in your browser or on our server, an error report is sent to Sentry. It contains the error message and where in the code it happened, the address of the page, your browser and operating system and their versions, and the steps the page took just before the error. It contains no IP address, no cookies, nothing you typed into a form and no identifier for you. Sentry sets no cookies.
We use these reports only to find and fix faults.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a site that works (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Recipient: Functional Software, Inc. (Sentry), 45 Fremont Street, 8th Floor, San Francisco, CA 94105, USA, which processes the reports on our behalf under a data processing agreement and the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
Reports are deleted after 90 days at the latest.
Contact form (Cloudflare)
When you send a message with the contact form, we receive what you enter in it, such as your name, email address and message. To keep the form free of spam, Cloudflare Turnstile checks that a person is sending it: once you start using the form, it reads signals from your browser and device, including your IP address. Turnstile does not use cookies to track you, and nothing is loaded from Turnstile before you start using the form.
We use your message only to answer it, and the check only to stop automated spam.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering the messages sent to us and in protecting the form from abuse (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Recipients: Thallo, the platform this site runs on, which forwards your message to us by email, and Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA, which runs the check and sends the email on our behalf. Cloudflare is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
Thallo keeps no copy of your message. The email stays in our mailbox for as long as we need it to deal with your request.
Your rights
You may ask to see, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive it in a portable form. Where processing rests on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time. Write to [Contact email — to be provided]. You may also complain to your data protection authority.
